Bridgepoint Education Donates Computer Equipment to Monarch Montessori of Denver
Michael McCurdy, a member of Bridgepoint Education's BTS team, delivers the company's laptops and computer equipment donation to Tammi Mobley, first steps director at Monarch Montessori of Denver.
Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI) provided laptops and computer technology equipment to Monarch Montessori of Denver. Representatives from Bridgepoint presented the donation to the school on December 12. The company’s donation will help to provide a quality educational experience for students and families who live within the Montbello, Green Valley Ranch, and Stapleton areas of Northeast Denver.
“At Bridgepoint Education, we are dedicated to serving the communities where we live and work, and we have a responsibility to improve those communities,” said Jana Mathieson, regional communications and community relations manager at Bridgepoint. “We are proud to donate laptops and computer equipment to Monarch Montessori of Denver. Communities thrive when children are nurtured and given a chance to learn.”
Monarch Montessori of Denver is a Montessori program for infants through elementary, which embraces the Montessori method, the method of education for young children that stresses the development of a child’s own initiative and natural abilities. The school’s mission is to provide a challenging academic program that will support students as they become “engaged learners today” and the “leaders of tomorrow.”
“These laptops will help teachers track students’ development, and enrich the communication between students, teachers, admin, and the community,” said Tammi Mobley, first steps director at Monarch Montessori of Denver. “They are a huge relief for the school and Bridgepoint’s donation is hugely appreciated.”
