Anna Davison Named Bridgepoint Education's Vice President of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations

Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI), a provider of postsecondary education services focused on providing higher access to higher education, has announced the appointment of Anna Davison to the position of vice president of corporate communications and investor relations. Reporting to Ross Woodard, executive vice president/chief marketing officer, Davison will oversee public and media relations, employee communications, investor relations, and will positively promote the external reputation of the organization and its universities.

“Anna’s impressive communication experience, knowledge, and leadership skills made her an excellent candidate for this position,” Woodard said. “I speak on behalf of the rest of the executive team when I say she is a welcome addition to Bridgepoint.”

As a dedicated communications professional with more than 15 years of experience, Davison comes to Bridgepoint Education from AMN Healthcare, where she served as director of corporate communications. Previously, Davison held several positions with local San Diego companies, including Provide Commerce and government defense contractor Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

Earlier this year, Davison was recognized as the 2016 Communicator of the Year by the San Diego Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and she has been elected to serve as 2016-2017 president for the IABC San Diego Chapter. Davison earned a bachelor’s degree in English from San Diego State University.
