Bridgepoint Education, Inc. (NYSE: BPI), a provider of innovative solutions that advance learning, will welcome the University of Texas Longhorns and the University of California Golden Bears to San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium for tonight’s 34th annual Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl. The game kicks off at 5:00 p.m. PST.

Bridgepoint Education will donate one dollar from each ticket sold for the game to Freedom Station. The local non-profit organization helps transition injured service members back into civilian life by providing temporary lodging facilities, educational guidance, counseling, physical therapy and career opportunities to the nation’s injured and disabled military heroes who have been medically retired or discharged.
The Port of San Diego Big Bay Balloon Parade launches a day of Bridgepoint Education Holiday Bowl festivities at 10:00 a.m. in downtown San Diego. The parade begins with the finals of the 15th annual Weinerschnitzel Wiener Nationals and the Bumble Bee Foods 5K. Then, the scenic bayside streets will come alive with world-class marching bands, magnificent floats, entertaining drill teams and a procession of enormous balloons.
