Bridgepoint Education Names Jessica Caris Director of Public Relations
SAN DIEGO, CA (April 16th, 2007) – Bridgepoint Education has appointed Jessica Caris as its Director of Public Relations. Ms. Caris will report directly to Ross Woodard, Vice President of Marketing and Advertising.

Prior to joining Bridgepoint, Ms. Caris was a Vice President at Sloane & Company, an award winning public relations agency headquartered in New York. She managed accounts such as WisdomTree Investments, Wyeth Pharmaceutical, New York Life, and BearingPoint. Before that she served as Vice President at boutique financial PR firm, Ben-Abraham Associates, where she helped lead accounts like Bessemer Trust, Smith Barney Private Wealth, Deutsche Bank Private Wealth, Glenmede Trust and Old Mutual Asset Management. She was recognized and awarded by Institutional Investor’s Private Asset Management unit for her public relations work.
Before her career in public relations, Jessica was a financial news producer and reporter for Bloomberg Television in New York. She also produced news for CNN in New York, as well as for the Associated Press Television in London.
Jessica earned her B.S. degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. She is a member of Rotary International's Del Mar, CA chapter.
